Skiing and Hiking
| Less than an hour's drive away from Susie's is the Mt. Washington Ski Resort. It has downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and snow-shoeing in the winter. Rigorous hiking and mountain biking are available in the summer. |

|
Day and over-night hikes and can all be found in and around Campbell River. Campbell River is a gateway to many parks, beaches and mountains that offer adventure for all levels. |
Restaurants
|
For the shopper, Susie's location offers lots of bargain hunting. Antique stores, clothing stores and home decorating stores are all available. "City slickers" have all been pleasantly surprised by the depth and breadth of our "little area" on the Island. Complementing this is our close proximity to Courtenay and Comox. Kingfisher Spa (an outstanding spa offering a multitude of treatments) is a wonderful place to wind down and relax after a grueling day of shopping. |
Galleries, Native Arts and Crafts
|
Campbell River is especially proud of its galleries and its Native Arts and Crafts: There are many other local fine painters and even a glass blowing studio. We would be happy to make an introduction. |
For
